Fields and options

Some services need more than a link and a quantity. This page lists every extra field, its limits, how quantity is decided and how Telegram reactions are sent.

How fields work

Every service lists the fields it takes in fields (see List services). Send each one by its key in the same add request. A field is one of the kinds below. A line list is one item per line, separated by a newline.

Field kinds

integer: A whole number within the shown limits.
text: A short text, up to the shown length.
lines: A list with one item per line. Blank lines are dropped.
choice: One value out of a fixed list.
url: A link starting with http:// or https://.
reactions: Telegram reactions, as a mix or with exact counts. See Telegram reactions.

A known field sent to a service that does not offer it is refused with OPTION_NOT_SUPPORTED. A required field that is missing returns MISSING_PARAMETER, and a value outside the limits returns INVALID_OPTION. All of this is checked before you are charged. Unknown parameters are ignored.

Fields and quantity by service type

type_key tells you which fields to send. Types that work from a list you send (custom comments, comment replies and custom username lists) set the quantity themselves: it is the number of lines, and a different quantity is refused with QUANTITY_MISMATCH. If you leave quantity out, it is counted for you.

Exact reactions work the same way: the quantity is the sum of the counts. If you send a quantity and it differs from that sum, the request is refused with QUANTITY_MISMATCH.

All fields

Names are the wire names you send. Fields that more than one type uses are one name: username is the comment author on comment likes and replies, and the account to target on follower mentions.

Web traffic fields depend on each other: google_keyword is needed when type_of_traffic is google_search, and referring_url when it is referrer. Missing ones return MISSING_PARAMETER.

Telegram reactions

Telegram accepts 73 reaction emoji and at most 11 different ones on a post. Services with a reactions field take them in one text value, and anything outside the allowed set is refused before you are charged. Send the emoji as plain text in the request.

Two ways to send reactions

👍,❤️,🔥mix: A list of emoji. We spread quantity across them, so quantity is required.
👍:60,❤️:40exact: Each emoji with its own count, a whole number of at least 1. The quantity is the sum, so quantity is optional; if you send it, it must equal the sum.

Reactions only arrive when they are turned on in the target channel. Check the channel's settings before you order.

The 73 allowed reactions

A service may allow fewer. Its fields entry lists exactly what it accepts in allowed, with max_distinct and modes. A variation selector is ignored when comparing, so a heart with or without it counts as the same emoji.

Rule words

INVALID_PARAMETER and INVALID_OPTION carry a short details.rule that says what is wrong. Branch on error_code first and treat a rule word you do not know as a generic invalid value, because new words can be added.
